A teleprompter for Google Meet with notes only you can see

If you live in Google Workspace, you know the standard trick: open Google Slides, put your talking points in the presenter notes, and share the slides in Meet. It works — right up until the day you share the wrong thing. Meet lets you present a tab, a window, or your entire screen, and picking the wrong one means your notes, your other tabs, or your whole desktop are suddenly on two hundred screens. Every Workspace power user has either done this or watched it happen.

Even when the share goes right, presenter notes have a built-in tell: they live away from your camera. Reading them means visibly looking off-lens — fine for a team standup, costly in a job interview or a sales call where the other side is reading you.

Lumi removes both failure modes at once. The script is an overlay near your camera lens, so reading looks like eye contact. And in Meeting Mode, the overlay is excluded from what Meet captures — participants and recordings see a clean screen no matter what you share. There's no “wrong window” anymore, because your notes were never in any window Meet could see.
