2. Data we collect
Lumi is a native app for macOS and Windows. Most processing happens locally on your device. We only collect:
- Email and payment information provided at checkout (processed by Stripe).
- Aggregated and anonymous usage data to improve the product (e.g. sessions started, errors reported).
- Website analytics data via Google Tag Manager (browsing behavior).
3. How we use your data
- Process your subscription and send purchase confirmations.
- Send product-related communications (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- Improve the experience and fix technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with service providers necessary to operate the product:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google Analytics / GTM — website analytics.
- Meta Pixel — marketing campaign analytics.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal obligations. To request deletion of your data, email founder@getlumi.pro with the subject "Data deletion request".
6. Cookies
The website uses essential technical cookies (required for functionality) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel). By continuing to browse, you consent to the use of these cookies.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Lumi, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the product.
2. License
Lumi grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the application in accordance with these Terms. The following are prohibited:
- Copying, modifying, or distributing the software.
- Reverse engineering or decompiling the application.
- Sublicensing, selling, or transferring your license to third parties.
- Using the software for illegal purposes.
3. Subscriptions, payments, cancellations, and refunds
3.1 Free trial
Lumi offers a 3-day free trial. A valid payment method is required at signup. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically begins and your payment method will be charged at the plan price selected at checkout.
3.2 Paid plans
Lumi offers the following paid plans:
- Monthly plan — renews automatically each month unless cancelled before the next billing date. You may cancel at any time; access remains active until the end of the current paid period.
- Lifetime plan — a one-time digital purchase with no automatic renewal.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
3.3 Digital delivery
After purchase, Lumi access, download instructions, activation information, and license access are delivered digitally through the checkout flow, email, customer account, download page, or related systems. By completing a purchase, downloading, installing, activating, signing in to, or using Lumi, you acknowledge that the product has been delivered and that access to the software has started.
3.4 Refund policy
Refunds are not issued after effective use of the product outside the free trial period. "Effective use" includes, but is not limited to:
- Downloading the application.
- Installing or launching the application.
- Signing in with the purchase email.
- Activating a license or subscription.
- Using Lumi features, including calls, recordings, teleprompter mode, or meeting mode.
- Continued access to the product after the trial period ends.
Because Lumi is a digital product with immediate access, purchases are considered final once the product has been delivered and used, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
3.5 Cancellation is not a retroactive refund
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. Cancellation does not automatically refund previous charges, already delivered access, or paid billing periods that have already started. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us before opening a payment dispute so we can review the case and help resolve the issue.
3.6 Support before disputes
If you experience any technical issue, installation problem, activation issue, or dissatisfaction with Lumi, you agree to contact us first at founder@getlumi.pro so we can provide support, troubleshooting, or account assistance. Opening a payment dispute without first contacting support may delay resolution and may result in the account being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
3.7 Abuse of refunds or disputes
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Lumi if we identify abusive behavior, including repeated refund requests after product use, chargeback abuse, unauthorized sharing of access, or continued use of the product after claiming it was unacceptable, not received, or not authorized. This does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
4. Service availability
Lumi is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable prior notice.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Starken LTDA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use Lumi.
6. Intellectual property
Lumi, including its name, logo, design, and code, is the exclusive property of Starken LTDA. All rights reserved.
7. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms periodically. In the event of material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the product after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes shall be resolved in the court of the user's place of residence, in accordance with the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
