An invisible teleprompter for Microsoft Teams

Teams meetings have a particular flavor: they're corporate. The quarterly business review with your VP watching. The training session that HR records for the onboarding library. The project update where three levels of management joined “just to listen.” These are the presentations people rehearse in the shower — and the ones where a visible crutch costs the most credibility.

They're also recorded more than any other kind of meeting. That raises the bar twice: your notes can't appear in the live share, and they can't appear in the replay that half the department watches at 1.5x speed next week. A document on your second monitor might survive the live call; it also drags your eyes sideways the entire time, and everyone on the recording sees you reading.

Lumi's Meeting Mode solves both halves. The script renders as an overlay next to your camera — so your delivery reads as eye contact — and it's excluded from what Teams captures. Attendees see your slides or your screen, clean. The recording shows the same.

Microsoft's own answer is presenter view: your slides for them, your speaker notes for you. It genuinely keeps notes private — but it doesn't solve the delivery problem. The notes pane sits wherever your window is, which is rarely near your webcam, so reading them is visible as reading. You're also locked to a deck: no help during the demo portion, the Q&A, or a meeting with no slides at all.
